Catari
Canados launched Catari in 2005 and refitted her in 2016. The famed Italian shipyard designed every aspect of this luxurious motor yacht including the interior and exterior. She’s big enough to sleep eight guests and comes with an array of fun water toys.
Manufacturer
Canados has produced luxury yachts since 1946. They build all of their models at their historic shipyard in Rome. When they first started, they built maritime vessels for the country’s Navy and Coast Guard. Then, a chance encounter propelled them into the pleasure boating industry.
In 1953, a royal Gulf emirate family sent a representative to attend a local patrol boat launch. While there, the representative became stricken by the skill of the Canados building team. He thought the carpenters did excellent work and he asked them to build a yacht for His Highness. They accepted and they have delivered more than 800 vessels since that time.
The brand is known for building almost all of their components in house. They have design, engineering and technical offices that allow them to oversee all aspects of production. They have a carbon fiber series called Gladiator, a traditional collection called Canados and an Oceanic collection of explorer yachts.
Catari is built from their Canados 86 model which means it’s in their traditional motor yacht fleet. Instead of carbon fiber, her hull and superstructure are made of glass reinforced plastic. She’s not quite an explorer yacht but she can reach a maximum speed of 28 knots and boasts a long range of 800 nautical miles.
Interiors
Catari features sleek, modern interiors that shine thanks to special touches like smooth wood paneling and plush carpeted floors.
Some of her windows are floor to ceiling designs, including the sliding glass doors that lead out to the al fresco dining area. The loose furnishings are lush and cozy with tasteful sea themed decor. All of the interior rooms are air conditioned so you’ll stay nice and cool as you cruise around hotspots like Mexico.
There are four cabins in this family charter and enough room to hold eight people. In addition, two crew members can also join your crew to make sure you always have everything you need.
Amenities & Recreation
You can explore your surroundings with ease thanks to Catari’s onboard water toys. There are four SEABOBs available for anyone who wants to check out the local marine life or glide effortlessly across the sea. You’ll also have four kayaks, four paddleboards and even a waterslide. A 20 foot tender is ready to take you back to the boat when you’ve had enough adventure for the day.
Catari is currently accepting summer and winter bookings. She cruises around Central America all year.
