Tecnomar has been creating luxury motor yachts for some of Italy’s most discerning customers since 1987. They started in the city of Viareggio where they became known for producing elegant vessels that exceed customer expectations. They’ve delivered 311 yachts to date. Each one of their creations features the brand’s sporty style and cutting edge designs.
Yacht Selection
The Tecnomar fleet is varied and impressive. The designers take great care to ensure that every square inch of their design is luxurious and high end. On all their models, you’ll find precious wood and marble finishes along with fine fabrics and soft leathers. They also use unique, high end accessories to give each boat its own special look.
They have five different models in their collection. The smallest is their 20 meter Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 model. This is a luxury speed boat inspired by the performance of supersport cars. She may race up to 63 knots but she’s still lightweight thanks to her carbon fiber frame. Project Visionary is their mid sized yacht. This is a motor catamaran with a futuristic shape that includes large balconies, floor to ceiling windows and a private owner’s apartment on the aft deck.
The largest yacht in Tecnomar’s collection is the EVO155. It’s 47.35 meters long and includes special features like a sun deck, swimming pool and spacious sunbathing area.
Brand History
Tecnomar got on the map by creating modest, 20 meter yachts that showcased spectacular craftsmanship and innovative design. They moved their commercial and production offices to Massa Carrara a few years after they opened. This gave them more room and expanded their capabilities.
Since then, they’ve created vessels between 20 and 50 meters long. Customers from all over the world come to them for bespoke designs they can’t get anywhere else. They’ve expanded their locations over the years and now have more of a global presence.
Unique Selling Points
Something I love about this brand is their focus on sustainable design. All of their yachts are built from steel and aluminum and they use eco friendly production practices to lower their carbon footprint. They have a dedicated research and development team that brings each owner’s dreams to life.
Tecnomar staff members will even follow up with owners after the sale to make sure they are satisfied with every aspect of their purchase. They walk with buyers through each step of the process from initial concept to final production. Some of the most important parts of the process, including upholstery, steelwork and carpentry, are performed in house to ensure quality.
This brand is part of the Italian Sea Group and offers the largest private drydocks in the Mediterranean. They can even accommodate megayachts up to 100 meters. In addition to new designs, the team also provides refitting and maintenance services.
