Selene

Selene is a 62-foot sailing catamaran yacht released by Lagoon in 2015. The French shipyard built her from one of their custom models and refitted her three years later. She’s big enough to accommodate 10 guests and has lots of onboard spaces for socializing and relaxing.

Interiors

You’ll love the interiors of Selene if you’re a fan of modern architecture and crisp, cool lines. All of her rooms are open and airy with lots of natural light. There’s white cabinetry, warm wood accents and light gray upholstery that evokes a sense of calm. Even the decor is nautical inspired and simplistic so it doesn’t compete with the spectacular view.

There are five double cabins available and each one has a private bathroom. This gives you lots of space to stretch out and relax as you cruise around the Mediterranean. Enjoy a warm cup of coffee in bed or take it to the foredeck to catch the sunrise. At the end of the day, meet up with friends at the flybridge, sunny saloon or indoor dining area.

Lagoon also thought about other onboard conveniences when designing Selene’s custom interior. Every space is air conditioned, and there’s even Wi-Fi connectivity so you’re never too far from the outside world.

Dimensions & Performance

Selene is 18.9 meters long. This is on the smaller side for a catamaran yacht, but it’s perfect for cruising around hotspots like Mykonos. You don’t want to speed quickly through those iconic sites.

Instead, take your time as you meander some of Greece and Turkey’s most beautiful landmarks. She can go up to 10 knots, but she’ll perform best at a leisurely eight.

One of her best exterior features is the aft deck. Here, you’ll find a large dining table and seating area that’s perfect for hosting parties or catching up over a bottle of wind. It’s protected from the elements by a hard top bimini so you can use it any time.

Amenities & Recreation

For such a modest vessel, Selene is jam packed with a ton of water toys. We wouldn’t blame you if you wanted to spend your entire charter soaking up the rays on the deck, but you’ll always be ready if adventure calls.

In addition to a kayak, paddle board and wakeboard, you’ll also get a kneeboard and a pair of waterskis. Anyone who wants a closer look at the marine life below can try out the fishing, scuba diving, or snorkeling equipment. There’s a tender on the hydraulic platform and this space also converts into a private swimming deck.

Selene is ready to book for summer and winter charters. She cruises around the Mediterranean all year.
