Ozone

The Ozone Yacht Charter SX88 is a luxury motor yacht manufactured by the Italian Shipyard Sanlorenzo. It was built in 2018 and can handle up to nine guests with four different cabins. 

Interiors & Accommodations

The four cabins on board comprise of one twin cabin, one double, a VIP cabin and a master suite for the ultimate whales out there. The luxurious and functional interior of the Ozone was designed by Studio Lissoni also out of Italy while the exterior was done by Officina Italiana Design. It has one Pullman for the three crew members. 

Dimensions & Performance

Ozone Yacht Charter is 87 feet 7 inches long with a beam of 23 feet 7 inches. Its gross tonnage is 115 with a 5 foot 7 inch draft. Plus, it has a cruising speed of 20 knots. 

This explorer yacht has three Volvo Penta engines that can reach a max speed of 23 knots. It has a GRP Hull and GRP Superstructure. And because of the shallow draft you can anchor near coves and sheltered bays.

Destinations/Seasonality

The Ozone runs through the Mediterranean in France and Italy, both during the summer and winter seasons. Its most popular destinations are the Amalfi Coast, Corsica and Sardinia.

Sanlorenzo recently released their SX Series it’s a crossover between an explorer vessel and a flybridge yacht. Basically, you can take long journeys with this beauty but it’s also easy to navigate in shallow areas.

History

Sanlorenzo has had a long ventured history going back to 1958 in Limite Sull’Arno, Italy. The founders Gianfranco Cecchi and Guliano Pecchia wanted to capture the sophistication and elegance of Italian design and craftsmanship. 

The company was taken over in 1972 by a man named Giovanni Janetti. For the next few decades, Sanlorenzo saw significant growth and became one of the leaders in luxury yacht building. 

In the 1990s Sanlorenzo changed the superyacht landscape with its design and innovation. Over the years, they’ve won the Show Boats Design Award and two World Superyacht Awards.
