A Dutch shipyard named Amels released Nomad in 2019. This luxury motor yacht has spacious cabins, modern interiors and an impressive array of onboard amenities. Interiors

You’ll notice how special Nomad is as soon as you step aboard. This family charter is decked out with modern fabrics, bright colors and fun accessories that bring light and life into each space. Amels partnered with the American design studio Bonesteel Trout Hall to create what they call their “Californian casual” look.

In the main lounge, a black and white checkered print covers the arm chairs while a collection of artwork offsets the sleek console table. In the dining room, the sunny yellow mid-century chairs add a fun dose of personality. Even the bedrooms are funky and cool with geometric patterned rugs and upholstered headboards.

There are six cabins including a master suite, a VIP suite and a double cabin. The luckiest guest will enjoy the full beam master suite that boasts its own study and dressing room.

Dimensions & Performance

Nomad has a steel hull and a bright blue aluminum superstructure. The hull is a full displacement design so you won’t rock side to side while you’re sunbathing or enjoying a cocktail on the deck.

She can speed up to 15 knots but we suggest cruising at 12 if you want to get the most out of the twin engines. She’ll travel an impressive 5,100 nautical miles without running out of gas if you keep her at this steady pace.

At an impressive 55 meters or 180 feet, she has a strong profile that stands out beautifully as you cruise around Fiji or Papua New Guinea.

Amenities

This is the perfect adventure charter for a group that wants to enjoy the upscale lifestyle of luxury yachting. All around the deck, you’ll find things to do and features to enjoy. The convertible cinema is a great example. It turns the outdoor lounge into a spectacular personal theater that makes movie nights into memories.
