Monte Carlo Yachts

5 Yachts Found

Monte Carlo has produced luxury motor yachts since 2008. This Italian shipyard is quickly making a name for itself through custom designs, innovative technology and artistic details. They’re located near the Gulf of Trieste in a city called Monfalcone.

The team specializes in a fully bespoke design process that ensures each vessel is created according to owner specifications. They’re part of a French network called Beneteau Group which expands their global reach.

Yacht Selection

There are seven yacht models in the Monte Carlo fleet. They range from 66 feet to 105 feet long.

The MCY 66 is their smallest yacht. It was designed in collaboration with Nuvolari Lenard Design Studio. They’re located in Venice and specialize in interior and exterior yacht designs. This vessel features modern decor, high end fabrics and lots of reflective materials that make it feel much larger than its size.

One of their mid range models is the MCY 80. This yacht was built for socializing and includes special touches like an entertainment foredeck and a Portuguese bridge. There’s also a large flybridge that can include a Jacuzzi, exterior bar and sunbathing lounge.

The MCY 105 is their largest yacht to date. They released it on their five year anniversary and it’s gone on to win many international awards. This includes the World Superyacht Award in 2017.

The MCY Skylounge is their most recent collection. They launched it in 2020 and it includes three different models. These yachts are designed to be used all year and they include special features that keep guests comfortable in all kinds of weather. For example, the MCY 76 includes an enclosed flybridge with a lounge area that leads into an open air galley.

Brand History

Many Italian shipyards have been producing luxury yachts for nearly a century. This makes Monte Carlo a relatively new player in the space but they’re climbing the ranks at an impressive speed.

Esteemed designers Carlo Nuvolari and Dan Lenard took charge of the design process in 2009. They work closely on every part of the build including concept design, naval architecture and exterior styling.

They revealed their first yacht, the MCY 76, in 2010. This yacht is distinctly Italian in look and feel and it introduced the brand to the world. The yacht made a splash in the Asian market and turned heads at the Miami International Boat Show in 2012.

Over the years, they continued to release different models that incorporated various design elements. They’ve accumulated many awards along the way including the 2017 Best of the Best Award from Robb Report China.

Unique Selling Points

Something unique about Monte Carlo yachts is that many of the models are designed to be used throughout the year. This can be a major advantage if you love to travel during the off season. Their Skylounge collection features luxury motor yachts that offer incredible water views while keeping you safe and protected within enclosed flybridges. This lets you enjoy hotspots like the Mediterranean even during cooler months.

Their manufacturing process also sets them apart. They make all of their fiberglass components with engineered core materials and resin. Then, they apply that material through a special process called vacuum infusion. All of those components are cured before they enter the assembly line. This makes them strong and mechanically secure.

Chartering a Monte Carlo yacht means leaving the real world behind and stepping into a life of luxury. Each vessel is so spectacular it’s easy to see why this brand is well loved in Italy and around the world.
