Mon Chateau

Mon Chateau is a motor yacht charter released by Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo in 2020. She’s based on the brand’s SX88 model and has enough space to comfortably hold eight guests. She dazzles thanks to her custom fittings, ultra modern design and vast collection of water toys. There’s even an onboard gym to enjoy while you cruise around the Bahamas.

Interiors

Milan based design firm Studio Lissoni transformed the interiors of Mon Chateau. For 30 years, they’ve worked on projects that span various realms from architecture and landscapes to interiors and graphic design. They’re known for their simple yet hard working designs that are incredibly detail rich and visually striking.

All of the furniture they used is low profile and minimalistic, which gives each room a contemporary feel. They also made beautiful use of natural elements like wood and metal, using them to beautify and complement bigger pieces like dining tables and bars. The main lounge feels more like an elegant living room in a towering beach home. It has oversized windows, sleek glass accents and black framed windows.

There are four cabins in all including one master suite, one VIP cabin and two twin cabins. In addition to your party, three crew members can also travel with your group. They’ll handle all of the operational logistics so you can sit back and enjoy your Caribbean getaway.

Dimensions & Performance

At 26.82 meters or 88 feet, Mon Chateau is one of Sanlorenzo’s mid range models. Still, she’s incredibly powerful on the water thanks to her hull and superstructure. They’re both made out of a lightweight, strong material called glass reinforced plastic that improves speed and agility.

You can go up to 23 knots thanks to the three Volvo engines on board, but stick to 16 knots for a comfortable cruising pace. If you pull back to 10 knots, you can travel up to 1,000 nautical miles without stopping to refuel.

As you walk around the deck, notice how the adventure charter’s advanced stabilization system keeps you steady and comfortable. This component reduces side to side roll so you’re always protected no matter how choppy the water might get.

There’s a Yamaha Waverunner, inflatable water toy and two inflatable kayaks to enjoy as well as inflatable paddle boards, towable toys and snorkeling equipment.
