If you’re due for an epic getaway, then head to the Mediterranean to enjoy the stunning Dragonfly luxury charter yacht. Dragonfly is a spectacular 39 meter or 128 foot gulet by Bodrum Shipyard based in Turkey.

She’s an entirely custom model so you’ll be one of the few to stay on this one of a kind motor sailing yacht. She originally launched in 2004 but she had a more recent refitting in 2017 so her finishes and amenities are all upgraded and ready to give you a wonderful vacation.

Accommodations

Dragonfly has the perfect set up for either a family or a fun loving group of friends. She sleeps 10 guests in her 5 cozy cabins. That includes a primary suite with a king bed as well as two double cabins and 2 twin cabins which each have two twin beds.

She can also accommodate six skilled and experienced crew members who will give you a vacation to remember by catering to your every need on board.

Design and Performance

Dragonfly’s designers stayed true to the essence of a gulet by giving her phenomenal interiors with a traditional and elegant style. At the same time she has the power and features of modern yachts too. She cruises at 10 knots and reaches a maximum speed of 13 knots.

Especially unique is her shallow draft which allows her to anchor close to shore. This makes her perfect for those who want to explore the amazing reefs and coves of the Mediterranean.

Amenities and Recreation

This adventure charter is herself the perfect locale for an exciting and refreshing getaway. She has a sun deck and outdoor dining and lounge spaces where you can relax and take in the view of the sunny Mediterranean. The real excitement comes from her selection of water toys, though.

For starters, her waterskis are always a thrill and so is her wakeboard and her Ringo towable toy. If you prefer more relaxed recreation her canoes and paddleboards may be more of your speed.

As we noted Dragonfly’s shallow draft also gives you access to quiet coves along the Mediterranean. To make this experience even better, she has a sea scooter and snorkeling gear you can use to explore reefs and get to know the amazing local marine life. There’s even fishing equipment for your use if you’re an angler.

It’s also worth noting that Dragonfly has a tender on board for easy access to and from the shore during your excursion. This lets you take in the scenery of the area including the intimate seaside down and exquisite seaside dining.
