Carpe Diem is a motor yacht released by Leopard in 2007. The Florida based shipyard also refitted her in 2022. That means she’s fresh, up to date and ready to explore the best Caribbean hotspots. You’ll love her cozy interiors, fast cruising speeds and array of on deck amenities.
Interiors
A firm called Pure Design is behind the lush interiors of Carpe Diem. As soon as you step into one of the rooms, you’ll notice their upscale, contemporary touch. Each space is beautifully furnished with cool neutral tones, low profile furniture and streamlined glass accents. The oversized windows ensure that the dazzling blue water is always the focal point no matter where you’re at.
There are four cabins available and enough room to accommodate nine guests. In addition, five crew members can also stay with your group. They’ll make sure your stay is nothing but relaxing the entire time.
Dimensions & Performance
A few features work together to make Carpe Diem as comfortable and efficient as possible. One of those is the glass reinforced plastic that Leopard used to construct this performance yacht’s hull and superstructure. This material is lightweight but incredibly strong so it keeps the adventure charter running smoothly on the water.
The planing hull is another smart addition. This type of hull glides on top of the water rather than pushing through it which helps the boat go faster. That’s why you can enjoy lightning quick speeds of up to 38 knots. Keep her at around 22 to 30 knots, though, to conserve fuel and keep her comfortable. Her low draft makes it easy to anchor in shallow bays and coves and also lets you cruise close to the shoreline.
Amenities & Recreation
The islands of the Bahamas might be all around you, calling for an adventure charter, but Carpe Diem’s glorious onboard amenities may keep you close to the yacht all vacation long. Imagine waking up and enjoying a cup of coffee on the sundeck or unwinding with a cocktail in the deck Jacuzzi at night. There’s also a barbecue grill that’s perfect for a delicious dinner under the stars.
There are a few different ways to get into the water when you’re ready to cool off and both of them are fun. The swimming platform is a gentle way to dip your toes in while the inflatable water slide launches you straight into the glistening sea.
Don’t forget to also check out the wide collection of water toys. There’s a Jet Ski, paddleboard and SEABOB to enjoy as well as snorkeling gear and a few inflatable toys.
Carpe Diem is available for summer and winter charters. She cruises around the Caribbean all year.
