About Kelly

Though she’s always lived along the Eastern Seaboard, Kelly Magyarics is always planning her next island escape. She’s written extensively about tropical destinations, from the dreamy overwater bungalows overlooking cloud-covered Mount Otenu on Bora Bora, to the otherworldly rock formation jutting out of the Andaman sea in the Phi Phi islands. Of course, she indulges in on-the-water pursuits during her travels, including sailing around glitzy St. Barth and snorkeling the azure-hued seas of Turks and Caicos and Anguilla. No matter where her perpetual wanderlust takes her, Kelly is probably holding a glass of something fabulous—like Billecart-Salmon Champagne or a seaspray-tinged glass of Assyrtiko Santorini. Her writing lives at the intersection of luxurious island and coastal sojourns, elevated flavors and wellness—capturing indulgence as a sensory experience and a state of mind.
