888 Private Motor Yacht for Charter by Riva

The 888 Yacht Charter was launched by the Italian shipyard Riva. The model name is 85 Opera Super. It was built in 2006 and had a refitting in 2024. 

This is a motor yacht built for comfort and luxury. Mauro Micheli at Officina Italiana Design created the beautiful interiors. This firm is known for balancing elegance and innovation. 

Dimensions & Performance

When you book 888, you’ll get a ship that’s 85 feet and 4 inches long with a beam of 20 feet, 4 inches. It has a 6-foot, 7-inch draft with 95 gross tonnage. 

This family charter was built with a GRP hull, GRP superstructure and twin MTU engines. It can reach a max speed of 34 knots and hit cruise control at 24 knots. It can go 3,500 nautical miles with its 8,700-liter gas tank if you keep it at 25 knots throughout. 

Destinations & Seasonality

In the summer, 888 cruises the Mediterranean through Croatia and Montenegro. In the winter, it all depends on the booking and time so you need to inquire with your charter company. 

Amenities & Recreation

888 has some great toys available including 2 SEABOBs, a set of water skis, a wakeboard and inflatable water toys to play or lounge around with. It has a sun deck, sun pads, and air conditioning for when you’re inside. It also has one Avon Seasport 3 tender you can take out for a spin.

Interiors

One of the founders of Officina Italiana Design, Mauro Micheli was responsible for the elegant interior design of this yacht. 

Inside, you’ll find four suites that can accommodate eight guests. There are two twin cabins, a VIP cabin and the master suite. It can also carry three crew members so you’ll be well cared for. 

History

Riva won the Best Motor Yacht Over 80ft Award at the Oceanway China Yacht Annual Awards in 2020 for their Riva 90’ Argo. They also were given the Best New Series Boat Design and Innovation Award from Boat International in 2021 for their Riva 88’ Folgore.
